Building Civvi

To me, Civvi is not just an idea, but a feeling. I recently had a lovely meeting with an advocate from Students Engaged in Advancing Texas (SEAT), and one statement from them stood out to me: “Advocacy has become a lifestyle.”

They highlighted to me that, to many, this lifestyle is inaccessible—and whether it be the pressures of being full-time students or working parents—sometimes even the act of being an activist is a privilege. At Civvi, our goal is to democratize advocacy and make it accessible to everyone.

Our minimum viable product (MVP) is in progress, we’ve run 120+ surveys, we’ve hosted a variety of interviews with real users, and now we’re partnering with incredible local organizations who are ready to bring Civvi to life.
